Bunjil Place
A revised concept logo design for Bunjil Place in Narre Warren encapsulates the essence of its architectural features through a focus on texture and form.
Inspired by the bird-like silhouette of the building, the design incorporates two timber structures that symbolise the entrance while echoing Aboriginal stories of Bunjil. An eagle that was believed to create life and living things.
By emphasising the natural timber material, the logo highlights the organic and nature theme of the building, creating a juxtaposition that adds depth and dimension. This thoughtful exploration of materiality effectively communicates the unique identity of Bunjil Place.
